Last week we finished our first course on Social Entrepreneurship.
Nearly 70 students from 7 states and some of the top high schools in the country launched 17 new companies over a 2 week period.
On the final day students competed in a Shark Tank style pitch competition for prizes and glory.
During this period students conducted over 520 customer interviews, made 170 pitch videos, participated in 136 mentor sessions and completed 42 different assignments. Both student and parent feedback has been great, and we are excited to see how many students continue to work on their companies, as well as how their learning experiences added to their college preparation activities and essays. We really enjoyed teaching this class during this crazy time, and it was a testament to our students that they were able to focus and deliver such great results.
